Special Needs

October 12th, 2011

We have been working with some special needs groups and having great results. Some of the different needs kids have Down Syndrome , Autism, Cerebral Palsy, DYSPRAXIA, Aspersions ,sensory issues, just to name a few. The Glides Bikes have been able to help in various ways which include the following: Helping develop gross motors skills, improve balance, develop muscle coordination, general exercise, and build confidence. Our learning bikes are unique in that they balance at a very low speed and stable giving the rider more time to master balance on our balance bike. Most Pedal less bikes do not have foot pegs, brakes, alloy frame, adjustable seat and handles bars. Nor do they offer multiple sizes for various age groups. Our Go Gliders help  special needs kids  from 5 to 10 with and inseam from 18″ to 25″. Our Super Glider is helping Kids form 10 to adult with learning balance to full on bike riding with its pedal system. Teachers like that it folds up and can be stored in a closet or for easy transport. If you have a Child or anyone with special needs contacts us to find out how we can help.
