Wow! Learn to Ride a Bicycle Day had an excellent turn out and great results. Children and adults ranged from ages 2 thru 55. At least 6 kids rode away on traditional bikes and 2 more are very close. A big thanks go out to Bike Cycles owners Melanie and Shawn Spencer. They provided refreshments, bikes helmets and their own kids who demonstrated balance on both Gliders and bicycles.      The best moment of the day was when a adult women who drove in from Raleigh for the event learned how to balance on the Super Glider (available soon)and then rode a traditional bicycle! This was the first time in her life she rode a bicycle! The Local News station came WECT Wilmington and will be doing a piece on the local news. We hope to expand the Learn to Ride a Bike program to other bicycle shops. This program is great for consumers and bicycle shop owners’ alike.
