Size and durability are also large factors. Glide Bikes is wonderful in this regard – children who are older, but require more practice in balance and control before they learn a traditional pedal bicycle can benefit tremendously from this product. This is particularly beneficial for children who have cognitive delays. All of the other “balance bikes” I have seen on the market are quite small and a child ages out of them much sooner. Children who have disablities may require more time with the bike to master.”
